Meet the artist behind E. Brumley Creative

Elizabeth is a different kind of designer. As an artist first she has an eye that design school couldn’t teach. While there are hundreds of creative agencies and graphic designers out there, most stick to what is “now.” Trends and current styles have their place, but Elizabeth believes in pushing for something more. The hot style right now is plain, dull, and medical. Minimalism can be clean and beautiful, but when everyone is producing minimalist designs no one stands out.

Elizabeth approaches design from a fine art foundation and applies real world experience to create something unique and as individual as the clients who hire her. Her resume includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts concentrated in Graphic Communications with a minor in film, but more importantly Elizabeth boasts varied job experiences including 5 years as a Persian Farsi Linguist in the U.S. Army and 3 years studying mechatronics engineering that allows her to see the world from a different perspective than her peers in the design world. Elizabeth enjoys paying homage to design styles of the past while creating something new and eye catching to reinvigorate designs that would otherwise be considered passe.

On a more personal note, Elizabeth is a mother, and proud nerd. She enjoys Sci-Fi television including most Star Trek series, and both Stargate series. She also enjoys playing Dungeons and Dragons with her friends, stargazing, and exploring historical topics.
